Well, let's see. Last 3 years were abysmal.

    9-21 (3-17 in conference)
    9-22 (3-17)
    10-20 (2-18)

Not to mention that the highly competitive Pac-12 sent 8 teams to the NCAA's and one of them won it all.
    Time for a change.

Somebody in that VT thread replied "Dayton?" Does that mean anything to anybody? Coach?

Glad a Pac-12 team won but wish it was one of the other Pac-12 teams.

A poster (vollypopaz) is fairly optimistic about next season, "Next years recruiting class is strong. Anderson and Forte in the middle, Mirkovic as a six rotation Oh, potter as a setter and chandler in the back row. This group should make them more competitive where they need it."

Potter is a setter from Moline HS, IL, but I don't know who Chandler is.

i understand that meghan chang, all american first team setter for santa margarita has committed to CAL. but she is a junior this 2016 season. i watched her play. excellent setter. but maybe since she is a junior she could change her committment. i believe her sister is at stanford. how about mitty's coach cezar ?

anderson is from chandler az. so maybe there is confusion on a chandler player or maybe it is anderson. potter committed last year, but was not on the illinois all state first or second team, nor special mention or honorable mention. maybe that is why she is not signed. if meghan chang signs next year, that would be a tremendous get. she is 5 11 can jump and is an excellent smart setter. lets hope she stays committed. i followed volleyball alot but these last years have been terrible.

So what happened between cal VB being on top a few years ago to now?
I dont need easy, I need possible. Jorge Gutierrez

McShane left to coach at Air Force for one thing.

Glad he is back as Asst. Hopefully by mid January some staff changes will have occurred.

Only thing I can think of that Mike Williams accomplished is the Under Armour uniforms deal starting next fall.
