Tough for a true frosh to play well right away. QB is probably not a good fit, but if he's really interested in Cal he's got plenty of athleticism and potential size (listed now as 6' 1", 205 lbs) to try out for us at RB or S, maybe bulk up to LB.
or maybe he's just looking for another program that'll let him compete at football, while playing baseball...
We have a bunch of young QBs, but are any of them any good? For that matter, would this guy be any good? I'd love to be a fly on the wall as JW, BB and MT make their initial assessments over the next several weeks, just to hear their honest appraisals.
