Did the coach actually say USC or did you add that? Because they don't have a softball team. Only 9 Pac-12 schools do. Colorado and WSU are the other two schools without teams.

Probably meant UCLA, which has 2 girls from Pleasanton (1 each from Foothill/Amador Valley) on their roster.
    Access is better than ownership!

Oh. Didn't even think of that. Thanks.

Cal lucks out over Oregon State, 4-3, on only a single earned run on 5 singles. The Bears scored all of their runs in one inning and the former Bear pitcher, southpaw Taylor Cotton, was the best pitcher on the field. Cal had zero extra base hits, again. Cal's best hitter today was CF Krysten McCue with two hits. Hopefully, Cal's bats will warm up over the next two days to reach 30 wins and earn a berth to the NCAA Tournament. GO BEARS!

How about looking at it this way: Oregon State managed only 3 runs on 10 hits and committed 3 errors. Glass half empty or half full?

Last season, Cal finished with a .500 record in conference. The Bears were picked to finish sixth this season and will finish eigth with a half of a dozen fewer Pac 9 wins. What direction is the program headed in 2017 with seven seniors that are part of the regular playing rotation? Five position players [Kylie Reed, Annie Aldrete, Khala Taylor, Vanessa Alvarez + Alleah Laxamana] will graduate plus the team's #2 & #3 pitchers (Stephanie Trzcinski and Katie Sutherland-Finch).
