Cal rugby player paralyzed in weekend championship match Robert Paylor

His donations are now over $410,000 as of early Friday morning.

I was at the match and standing in the end-zone, literally 25 yards from where Robert's injury took place. It was gut-wrenching to watch this young man lay motionless. Please donate what you can, should you feel the desire.

    Latest update on Robert

Good news that he starts his rehab work tomorrow! Funds now up to $610,721 but contributions are slowing down. Lets keep it going.

From Robert: My doctor cleared me for rehab today! I am calling this a vacation day since I moved down to the rehab center but I wasn't scheduled for therapy. Spend most of the day hanging out on the patio, breathing the fresh air. Tomorrow I get to work!!!

Today was his very first day of rehab.

The latest update from his GoFundMe page says he "attacked" it so hard that his physical therapists had to remind him that there are no records set on Day #1.

Last week, he did an unassisted roll on his back and also was able to "wheel" a manual wheel chair. This is an amazing sign, cause it indicates that additional gains are in the offing in the future!
