    There's ALWAYS Ray Kasongo...

So, the name was familiar but I don't know why. He was likely a high hs recruit I had read about.
I failed to confirm how many stars he had.

But he spent his first yr at a community college.
    Soph year at Tennessee.
Red shirt third year as transfer on Iowa State bench.
Now released by Iowa state coach. Sounds like he got kicked off the team.

So he's got 2 years left and is in poor standing?
And if he goes to a D1 school, he'd waste another transfer year and get only 1 more to play? Ouch.

I guess he should go his Jr yr to a D-II school and try to make a D1 roster as a senior.
Then again, maybe he just gives up on school and heads overseas.
Your facetious joke about coming to Cal is well taken.

I know that when he originally was coming out of high school, some of us thought he was coming to Cal. Wow. Poor guy seems like such a mess. I hope he finds his place in this world.
