Lee and Kingsley are the only guaranteed starters.
It will be interesting to see how it all meshes together.

I'd be surprised if Coleman didn't start at the beginning of the season. He's our only guard with both D1 experience and a D1 body.

Based on their prep reviews I expect Harris-Dyson and Sueing to be the other two starters.

I anticipate there is more than a reasonable chance that you will be able to add Darius McNeil to the Newcomers for 2017 list.

It would not surprise many Cal supporters to see Darius McNeil prominently figuring in the starting point guard mix this coming season

If McNeill comes to Cal he would have to sit out next season...non graduate transfers are required to sit a year...but, when he becomes eligible in '18, he would only be a sophmore....

If he gets a full release, he wouldn't sit as he's a hs senior right now.

He is a High School senior - He would play and likely start immediately

Yeah, edit to include Paris Austin, a major pick-up!

Winston will be the starting PG next year. Jones almost said so. He was All City in LosAngeles. Scored 42 against Dyson's team. 19 in the state playoff game. A 4.0 with college credits. Doesn't hurt to be smart at PG.

I think you may be getting ahead of the curve making this prediction. Let's see him compete a bit before anointing him. He will have to show a lot more than he has to date. His high school competition has been even been equivalent to Division III let alone PAC 12. Div 1. Perhaps he becomes a serviceable pg in a couple of years. It is unrealistic to expect him to lead a competitive PAC 12 entry from the get go. Don't put a high expectation burden on him.

Very unfair to have these kinds of expectations on Winston. He shot 27% from three last year in HS. He averaged less than 4 assists a game. He's not super athletic. I would bet on Chauca beating him out handily at least to start the season.

    My bad.
    Duh.
Enjoyed a game next to his dad, good chatter, looking forward to him being here, as I've seen what he can do on the court.

I stand corrected...I was not aware that he was a senior in HS...he would help immediately....
