WE 12/2 WBB - SDSU shellac USC!!

Unbelievable ST Diego St. did a job on USC Friday winning 80-46! They were picked for 4th but their record is now 3-3.

I can't wait for Cal to beat USC this way too!

    That is a surprising score.

SDSU has three transfers leading the way: Courtney Clements and Malia Nahinu from Arizona, and Chelsea Hopkins from Duke.

Think Arizona could have used Clements and Nahinu?

Also, WSU stomped by Fresno State, 83-59, with former Cougar Kiki Moore leading the way with 27 points and seven assists.

Wonder how long Cooper will remain coach. USC has talent but those kids need better coaching. Cooper has never seemed that engaged.

    Us too!

Clements: Shot at least 50 percent from the field 14 times ... Ended No. 1 in the Mountain West in free-throw percentage in league contests, converting 40 of her 42 attempts, including 30 in a row ... First Aztec to ever lead the league in free-throw shooting and second to end up No. 1 in scoring in MWC contests ... Her 63 triples tied for fourth in SDSU history ... Led SDSU in scoring 23 times, in rebounding nine times and in steals on three occasions

Cooper does not have the personality to be a WCBB coach. He doesn't communicate well or display much enthusiasm. His teams have always underachieved for the level of talent that they have had. He was a defensive specialist when he played for the Lakers with not much of a clue about running any offense. He doesn't seem to use or value centers rather he plays small.
