Taurie Pogue. No nothing about her but looking soely on stats it looks like the girl can rake. Offensively you have to be excited about the 2014 class... Jazmyn Jackson (Archbishop Mitty) is one of the top players in the class, Kobie Pettis (Argonaut) is hitting well over 600. in the season ( and at nationals was the top hitter on the team that finished... 4th I believe in the age group and was recruited by quite a few other Pac-12 programs including U of O and Washington, and Taurie looks promising. Roll on!!

An Idaho recruit is a first but she looks the part (especially for a sophomore in high school). Hopefully, she faces tougher competition during summer travel ball...GO BEARS!

Gotta summe highschool means little and it is mostly about Travel Ball in the state of Idaho... but than again Casey Stengel is from Idaho and is one of the top pitchers in her class. She is from Sorcerers and has committed to Missouri. She is a big, powerful lefty!

Don´t think you see Cal recruiting at highschool games...

It has been a whirlwind few months for the 16-year-old Meridian native.
Last fall, the hard-hitting shortstop joined the Washington-based LadyHawks — a nationally-ranked traveling team — and scholarship offers began to pour in.
Pogue’s mother, Vicki, estimates her daughter has received more than 15 offers from Division I schools over the past few months.
“The first big tournament we went to in Florida in October, she got nine offers from East Coast schools that weekend,” Vicki said. “We were just shocked. It just started snowballing from there.”
On Tuesday, the excitement reached an all-time high when Pogue gave a verbal commitment to play for California beginning in the fall of 2014. The Bears are 33-1 this season and ranked No. 1 in the ESPN.com/USA Softball and USA Today/NFCA Division I polls.
“It was just perfect,’’ Pogue said of the Cal offer. “It was my dream being handed to me and I just had to go with it.’’
Pogue, who also had offers from Top 25 programs such as Oklahoma and Oregon State, was discovered by Cal coaches on accident."

By looking at that video I noticed Taurie has about 6 or 7 videos on youtube of her going yard. She is built/has a very similar swing to former ASU slugger Krista Donnewirth.
