I know this isn't true, but I love pretending that Harbaugh chose to go to the Niners because he wanted a chance to kick Carroll's behind a couple times every year. Those two hate each other, and I think it's a fantastic rivalry.

I like this fantasy.

Yep...but it's time for Petey to step up...if not this time, when?

Go Hawks

Unless he coaches Cal or the Niners someday, never is my best answer.

At least you're consistent! We only agree on the Bears - we'll see who's smiling when I'm in NYC next month

I'd like to think that we agree on the most important thing. Go Bears!

Remind me when you're here again? I may be traveling for work.

It's not that big of game for the 49ers if they lose they'll still win the division...

I guess the packers are close behind for the #2 seed though.

Maybe when he's as good as Harbaugh.

So...never.

NYC...it's about time you rehashed the Dodger Fans thread, isn't it? 1/26-1/30 btw...

Ha! We will revisit this thread on Monday.

I'll let that old Dodgers thread stay dead. You all know who the World Champs are by now. I did beat it to death though. Lol. What's a rivalry for?

I'll be back in NYC then. I hope we can get together for a drink.

Haha...truth be told, if the Giants miss the playoffs, the NFC team that scares me the most is the Seahawks. I still think the Niners will win this weekend (it's hard to score 50 when you're not purposefully running up the score against an outmatched team) but it's gonna be close.

Yup. About as wrong as possible. Oh well. It's going to be an interesting playoffs. It's scary how good the NFC West might be in future years. Niners are 8-2 outside the division and 2-2-1 against NFC West teams. Yikes.
