Some threads have a star rating showing on the right side of the box containing the title of the thread. How do you vote on that?

There's a Rate Thread drop menu at the top of posts that can be rated.

I think you asked an embarrassing question. At least, in one rated thread linked below, this peon can't find any such pulldown menu.

My good friend Calfans presumably woulda given more elaborate instruction was the feature available to everyone.

Finally I'm getting access to the drop down menu you spoke of. Purely wild guessing, since nobody has ever posted such a thing out loud before, such voting rights are the exclusive priviledge of those of us who are paid-up members of premium insiders.
