Per Tedford, MRI didn't reveal meniscus or other damage. Said he practiced today and looked good but they'll keep a close eye on him.

MM also played Saturday with a broken thumb that occurred vs OSU. It seems to be healing quickly, though.

This is great. Brock needs all the help he can get. I hope we can move the ball methodically against the Ducks. Seems like what UW was doing for 3 quarters (I know, that's the Ducks MO though, they can explode on you in 1 quarter) was pretty good. Maybe we follow that kind of game plan?

Play "Keep Away from the Rubber Duckies" . .. definitley. We got to try to keep the ball as long as possible. The lower the score the better our chances.

The key is converting our opportunities and stopping a few of theirs (hopefully with turnovers). Hopefully we don't think punting for field position is important against Oregon. We need to be far more willing to play four downs and keep the ball, go for TDs instead of FGs.

The other key is rotating and keeping guys fresh on defense, which I think we can do--one advantage for playing as many guys as we do.

I hope so b/c, despite what BellottiBold believes, Costa is not nearly as explosive a player as DT throwing or running the ball IMO.
