Punters kickers from Spring Roster - The Bear Insider

Chad Smith RS/Soph in fall(P), Benjamin Calder RS/Fr(PK) , Vincenso D'Amato Sr. (PK), James Langford Jr.(PK)

at least one of these is new I think. Chad Smith is on the crew roster this year. Don't recall if he was doing football last fall.

Do we have anything here? or will other punters, kickers emerge in August?

Most likely D'Amato will be our placekicker and Cole Leininger (true frosh) our punter. I've never heard of the other guys. I thought Jed Barnett would be our punter this year, but he left the program during winter break.

It's broken in lots of threads over the last couple months.

Barnett was hoping to earn a scholarship but he never progressed enough to get one so he felt he needed to move on.

I believe finances were an issue, too.
