Kelly Mendoza is now playing for USC and her mother, Maureen O'Toole-Purcell is no longer the volunteer assistant coach. Sounds like another conflict with Coach Rich Corso? Anybody have the scoop?

My experience with Coach Corso is that he's a little too self-righteous and inflexible. I know he has his supporters, but some of the stuff he says is disturbing to me. I don't know him well; he should be more careful with what he says. Obviously, I will not elucidate here about what he has said. BTW,the older Steffens signed a letter of intent to Cal and then wanted out in order to attend furd;there was a coaching change at the time.
