One of the centerpieces of the future Cal offensive line not only excelled on the gridiron during his prep career but also wrapped up his 3-year varsity basketball career with a second state championship, as well.
6-8/315 center/offensive tackle Freddie Tagaloa shared the court with top national wing and priority Cal basketball recruit Jabari Bird in 2012-13 and relished this year's success perhaps more than any other season.
"It's like a dream come true," said Tagaloa. "Personally, I think of all the teams I've played on, this one's the most deserving.
