Connor Vanover Set For Official Visit To Berkeley

Connor Vanover arrives in the Bay Area for the first time in his life, with his parents, Thursday afternoon.  His official recruiting visit begins Friday morning.  Vanover, who had signed with Memphis in the Fall recruiting season, asked for and was given a release from his LOI when the Tigers fired Tubby Smith. 

But he was no stranger to Cal.

He's so skinny and tall - I'm really concerned that he's going to either end up with foot problems from the increased workouts and games or that he will never have the strength to make a meaningful difference.
