Not a surprise, we have a solid team with no big stars built with a succession of #8 (of 12) recruiting classes. Our freshmen are highly regarded but they are freshmen so they aren't getting named to any preseason all conference teams. Third behind UW and UO is a measure of respect.

Our recruiting, especially on offense, has taken a big leap. The BIG question to be answered is Musgrave as OC. If we have a good offense for once under Wilcox we will challenge UW and UO, regain the Axe, and our future will be bright.

I found that a bit surprising. Hopefully we'll look a lot better at season's end.
