Good news. The Cal women's basketball team will play in the post-season WBIT tournament.

Bears play University of Hawaii at 7pm on Thursday evening at home! The women have really been fun to watch this year and they've worked hard, been gritty, and never given up. The team is clearly on a good ascent!

I do have a question for anyone who can answer........ Is the WBIT different than the WNIT? Or has the WNIT been renamed?

They've been discussing this on the Women's Basketball board. Apparently the WBIT is new and was added by the NCAA in addition to the WNIT. The attractive part about the WBIT is that the WBIT covers all expenses. Not sure about the WNIT.

Congrats to Coach Smith and the woman players!! Both the women's and men's teams are very much improved this year, Imagine where we will be if that keeps up for a couple of years! Go Bears!
