He could definitely punt--remember when he was the punting qb at Cal? The defense had to respect his arm so would have no returner.

Gonna go down as the greatest Cal QB of all time when all is said and done. Partly becuase of people wanting to forget about Rodgers's weirdness, but mostly because he's the greatest of all time.

Whenever Goff has a bad season, Rodgers has a good season.

There is no in between.

So I wonder which way this season will go. Will it follow that trend?

Looks like the strange trend of Goff being up when AR is down continues. One has a historically bad week, the other has an all time great game by a QB.

I love Goff, but Rodgers is in a category of his own, along with Brady, as the all-time greatest. Rodgers in his prime at Detroit would have won at least one superbowl.

Goff is in his prime today, he is in the top 5 current NFL QBs, maybe even top 3, but he's not quite the best. Still an outstanding QB obviously, but not GOAT territory.

Rodgers had a pretty decent game last week with some great throws, but they had no rushing offense and bad red zone offense. He also got hurt in the second half and was visibly limited in his mobility, he's going to have a hard time going through the regular season with a bad foot at 40.

Just for the heck of it, I looked up Goff's stats at Cal. He has two career receptions for 10 yards, thanks to the Tony Franklin system.

47-9 with 11 min left, that should be no problem.

The lions really look like the class of the NFC, the only team that is in their league, figuratively and literally, are the 5-0 Vikings, whom they play next Sunday, should be a great test for Jared's bunch.
