Probably basically gave away this last game to the Dodgers by gutting the bullpen, but also worth it!

I knew buster was going to trade one of birdsong, whisenhunt or Harrison. I was really hoping Harrison cause I think he's got the least upside. But I didn't expect back anything more than possibly an above average hitter for half a season. Instead they get an all star in his prime on a reasonable long term contract. Not sure how buster did it.

Buster Posey has big balls. The kind which make good swift decisions that would otherwise seem impossibly complicated to most other people. See Devers trade. Cry me a river.

Now all they need to do is allow people to sing the national anthem in Spanish and have their hall of fame pitcher stop putting bible verses on their Pride hats

But still. Good first step. I'm glad they realize a huge portion of their fan base is Spanish speaking

Posey is president of the giants, and he is a dick. The Dodgers are going for another World Series this year. Nobody cares about how good the giants were more than a decade ago, as the BALCO taint was fading.

I'm a Giants fan, but I have to admit that the Giants suck. Their offense is horribly weak, they only have two decent starting pitchers, and their much touted bullpen is very unreliable. No way they will mount a serious challenge to the Dodgers and Padres.

I mean, if you just want to comment after their worst series of the month then okay. I didn't think they were actually winning the division because the Dodgers are stacked, but playoffs are still very possible.

Giants have actually been getting more guys on base lately, but they absolutely cannot cash them in. Maybe that's something inherent to the roster, but I'm inclined to think it's more bad sequencing luck and they'll start scoring better at some point. But who knows? Baseball can be weird.

Giants are going to be fine. They will sneak into playoffs and once there..who knows? Webb and Ray is a pretty good 1-2 punch.

But the reason they won all those titles is cause of a dominant bullpen. The bullpen is gonna have to be dominant again in the playoffs if they have any shot this year. Right now, they're showing some warts.

I stand corrected. 7 games north of 500. A little luck and they're in the thick of it. A better season than last year. Does Buster not merit some credit?
