Can't say I blame a guy whose job is Football Player for not going to a football game on an off day. How many of you guys go to a place just like your work on an off day?

A lot of us Cal fans just laugh. It wouldn't be Cal without opinions all the way across the spectrum, and all of them being posted here or elsewhere.
One almost has to be cranky to be a Cal fan, at times.
Which, btw, is exactly what Aaron is..... about attending Cal, cranky. He holds grudges it seems.

Not that it matters. My point was that all of these guys are true blue Cal former players who sacrificed their bodies and time while at this university, and they don't owe anything to anyone.

Emmitt left school after his junior year at Florida to enter the nfl draft. So, that must have been someone else you saw.

Hey, I'm completely with AR's rarely mentioning Cal as his alma mater. I have a BA from Cal, but my two grad degrees were earned from other schools. And I would NEVER
credit Cal with any influence on my life. Cal isn't that big a deal. Please let the recruits know that. Aaron has my bak on that.

Congrats on the other degrees. While I don't care about any mention of Cal during NFL intros, AR or otherwise, I think you're way off in regards to 18 y.o. kids entering undergraduate life. At that age your undergraduate school DOES MATTER, quite a bit actually. Of course it's easy to say it doesn't matter as an old fart, after the fact and a couple of other degrees but so it goes.

Did having a Cal degree help you to get into the grad schools or did your Cal education provide a solid educational foundation for your grad education.
Remember the saying of Isaac Newton: if I have seen farther than others it is because I have stood on the shoulders of giants.
In other words progress does not come by itself but builds on what came before.

Just wear a Cal shirt on tv once in a while...jeesh
