Yep, really sad to see this. There was a docu a couple years ago called "The Marinovich Project" which detailed his rise to fame and then the drugs and resulting mess. It seemed like he'd gotten to a spot where he was happier, doing some art work, and finding peace with himself. Problem is that the addiction is always there, one drink away, one hit away...

He looks awful in that booking picture. Freddy Krueger like.

This guy was Robo QB, right? The guy whose father raised him since an infant to be a QB, and he lived a supposedly pure life ("no sugar!") until he cracked, that guy? Marinovich and Madonna are cautionary tales for parents about being too strict on their kids. OK Madonna's rebellion led to sustained fame and riches, but she still sucks.

It's one thing to be naked, and another to have weed, and another thing to be on someone's property without permission, but he hit the trifecta. Sad indeed.

Is that pic of Todd or his father? Damn, years have not been kind.

I remember reading the SI cover story on him when he was in high school. At that time I concluded that his father should have been charged with child abuse the way he raised him. This poor man never had a chance. He looks 70. I have not read this story yet so I hope it backs my memory of what a jerk his dad is:

Yeah - that is just sad. Is it too late to bring his dad up on child abuse charges? I have seen first hand how a father can break a child with incredible potential. At 47, I doubt he can get over it.

Dad should've just let him have a Big Mac every once in a while.

I remember that article from way back. It's pretty sad he's fallen off the wagon again. I read somewhere that his old USC teammates are tired of helping him only to be betrayed again and again. Sort of a fool me once, shame on you, scenario.

A year in state prison like Robert Downey, Jr. served may be the only thing that can save him.
