So, not that Pitt is all that great but they play competitive games.
Maybe NC is not that much of a pushover afterall... and maybe Nebraska is (Michigan up now 56-3 over the Scott Frost offensive machine) midway through the 4th Q.
Looks like Maryland is at least half decent, handing it to 3-0 Minnesota 35-13 with a minute left to play.
#23 Boston College is about to lose to 0-3 Purdue 30-7.
Former Cal opponent Ole Miss being matched by Kent State at home. 21-17 Rebels late in 3rd Q.

NC looks like a different team without their starting d linemen (that we of course had to play). Too bad since it dramatically devalues our win. Would like to see them do well.

Nebraska just destroyed by Michigan 56-3. CU's signature win looking a lot less impressive.

Oh and there are still 6 minutes to play.

SMU wins in OT. Went for 2 in the first OT and made it.

Nebraska looks amazingly awful. You have to ask if they'll win a single game this year.

Mildcats look mediocre, except for their RB. They can't hang on to the ball and should have lost a bunch of fumbles. Rodents, meanwhile, are simply putrid.

Whomever came up with the Steve Spurrier commercial concept as "The Ol' Beer Coach" for Dos Equis with "That's my name! It's Dos Equis time!!" ought to be in the advertising Hall of Fame.

We'll beat OSU, but Arizona on the road looks like an L unless both offense and defense improve.

People may complain about Baldwin, but OSU's OC is clueless. Blount has 17 completions for a grand total of 137 yards. I swear over 1/2 of his passes were behind the line of scrimmage.

Good weekend for eating cheeseburgers. Our OOC opponents won, some ranked teams lost to unranked teams (BC, VTech). #23 A&M notched its second loss, tho both have been to the top 2 teams in the country.

I'm guessing Texas will be ranked if it holds on against TCU.

All in all, good news for Cal

I wonder if Nebraska misses Gebbia now.

ODU lost to Liberty, Charlotte, and FIU. Not exactly the who's who of FBS.

Herbert is a top 3 draft pick in all likelihood.

Those box out jump balls to Whitside must be so demoralizing for DBs. How do you stop that?

I still believe Shaw is the least creative head coach in all of college football.
