Is anyone aware of any college whose own improvement strategy was to successfully target a core group of players from a single winning school and then coached them into a winning team at the next level?

I assume that would be like and an NFL team taking Bama...probably wouldn't work.

USC has done pretty well recruiting players from Mater Dei and Serra (Gardena)
