I can't remember if I posted this on here, but before this year's game at USC, it had been over 1/2 decade since there was a Saturday game in LA. That means more than a generatyion of Cal students had not done that 1-5 raod trip. That's how traditions die.
2019 Schedule Announced: Six Home Dates, One on Friday Night
The 2019 football schedue was announced yesterday, and Cal has six home games, including a Friday night contest against Arizona State.
The season and home opener will be Aug, 31 against UC Davis. The other non-conference games are against North Texas at home Sept. 14 and at Ole Miss Sept,.21.
The first conference game is actually the second week of the season, at Washington Sept. 7. Ther are two byes, the week of Oct. 12 and Nov. 2.
Naturally no kickoff times were announced, except the Friday night
