I think our current hoops coach actually tweeted that JVG's dad has the 3 degrees from Cal (I believe they also crossed paths working with USA basketball this past year).

Right on mb.... there is a ton of Bay Area and nor cal history that is forgotten or not known by many. The Turner's are among that group.
