Here's what Cal gets:

  • Explosive natural athlete. 5'11 to 6' yet can windmill dunk a basketball
  • Top 50 National Marks in the 110H, the 300H and the Long Jump in Track and Field
  • Electronic timed 40 of 4.45 at the Dallas Opening in March of 2019
  • Very productive HS career across three years of varsity play
  • Smooth and deceptive route runner. Doesn't appear on film to be ultra-quick or accelerate well yet he beats his man and doesn't get caught from behind.
  • Had offers from Arkanasa, Colorado, Vanderbilt, Boston College and Illinois
  • Attends the same high school as Cal frosh power forward, DJ Thorpe

His highlight reel seemed long? I thought Texas FB is supposed to be good, cause they didn't look that good against him, or maybe he's just got a better delta. Wonder if he watched Cal sweep the Whorns back a few years ago.

He plays 6A -the biggest and best division in Texas.
