...make it about race. Since Cal is obsessed w all things race related, the only way to get our AD to run a smaller program and be more fiscally responsible is to argue that keeping more programs is racist. Actually this is a pretty good idea.

The needed a report for that? This has been obvious for 20+ years.

The article, however, fails to mention that it is also female athletes who benefit disproportionately. How will they work out this intersectional paradox? Does race trump gender?
