Epic game that deserves its own thread?
I just wagered major cryptocurrency on $C and took the 8.5 points. The Zags are horrifically overdue for a loss and the Mobleys are ballers: not a good combination for Gonzaga.

Are we gonna see a Zag cry tonight just like Adam Morrison did in 2006?

When I see those Zag headbands it triggers the memory of the Jason Kapono led Bruins at Haas with all those headbands and how foolish they looked in them when the Bears stomped them.

Zags are looking awesome early....but they better win or those headbands are going to be very poor optics.

I believe there is hoodwinkery going on! Potions are involved as well as incantations.

Can't tell if Timme is closer to Djokic or a G leaguer. Leaning towards the former.

Maybe they will take their foot off the gas at the end and USC covers the spread in garbage time, which at this point seems to be the entire second half.

If you watch Jimmy Kimmel you know that he has a running joke that Gonzaga is fictional and not a real school. He started it when they were in the tournament several years ago and it elicited a mostly good-natured response from the school and city of Spokane. He has mentioned it again this year and I would think that he will run with it through the tournament, maybe not to the same extent he did the first time.

Hard to see how anyone is going to beat Gonzaga the way they're playing. They're totally dominating everyone they play. Looks like UCLA is the last chance for the Pac.

Gonzaga was the no brainer pick to win it all....which I did. I figured SC to win only 1 game. I was happy to eat my bracket and have SC win...but it was not to be.

Gonzaga makes passes you don't usually see from college teams. Sometimes they look like the 2015 Warriors with the way they pass the ball.

It is pretty rare to go undefeated an entire season. It hasn't happened since 1976. i was pretty sure UNLV was going to do it but they didn't. That convinced me it is impossible in the modern era.

I think someone takes out Gonzaga.

It is difficult to go 32-0. It is much easier if you are already 30-0.

The competition generally gets tougher and tougher. Gonzaga didn't play a weak schedule but it didn't play a super strong one either. We shall see!

It's also probably a bit easier doing it in the WCC as opposed to a power conference.

If you are talking about the year after their National Championship when the Larry Johnson led Runnin' Rebels lost to Duke in the semis....that game was fixed by the Cosa Nostra.

As for the title of this thread, 'The Wesleyans vs The Jesuits' was right there.

Too bad for the Trojies. But I feel worse for all of us who've been enjoying their games without their obnoxious band in the background. Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end.
Patience is a virtue, but I’m not into virtue signaling these days.

Dumb question since I don't follow the NBA that closely - how has ZAGA done in getting guys to the show?

Not bad in terms of draft picks and free-agent signings. None of the recent guys are superstars, but they've played.

Sabonis is an all star. Collins and Clarke and Hachimura are talented young players. I think they have done well in this regard. And lots of NBA talent on the current team. I think they are the best at attracting talent in the west along with the best coach. They are rolling.

Don't think Few should get all the credit for Clarke as he was a transfer from San Jose State....He only played 2 season for Gonzaga.....

And to me that is what is sorta surprising - Spokane is a pain to get to for families to see games, it is NOT the most diverse place in the universe and it, at best, a "regional" university in respect to alumni and connections. Your exposure is semi limited (though the WCC does get good ESPN coverage - at least if not better than the Pac12).

A kid that visits Spokane in February and then compares it to Tuscon's co-ed population?

UCLA almost did it, but Baylor put it to bed.
