Men's Basketball's Conference Pairings And Site Designations For 2019 Set

BERKELEY California men's basketball's weekly conference matchups and site designations are now available, with the Golden Bears set to begin their conference slate in Southern California and end at Bay Area rival Stanford.

Pac-12 action begins on Wednesday, Jan. 2 and concludes on Saturday, March 9.

The announcement reflects the games being played each week and the home/away locations for the Pac-12 regular season. Specific dates, the order of games within a given week and times for each game will be announced later this summer after selections by the league's television partners are finalized. All Pac-12 games will be televised by either ESPN, FOX, CBS or Pac-12 Network.

Cal's order of opponents for the coming season is:

Week of Jan. 2-6: at UCLA/USC
Week of Jan. 9-13: vs. Arizona/Arizona State
Week of Jan. 16-20: at Washington/Washington State
Week of Jan. 23-27: vs. Colorado/Utah
Week of Jan. 30-Feb. 3: vs. Stanford
Week of Feb. 6-10: at Oregon/Oregon State
Week of Feb. 13-17: vs. UCLA/USC
Week of Feb. 20-24: at Arizona/Arizona State
Week of Feb. 27-March 3: vs. Washington/Washington State
Week of March 6-9: at Stanford

For the third consecutive season, the Pac-12 Tournament will take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, set for March 13-16, 2019.

The Golden Bears return under the direction of second-year head coach Wyking Jones, with a young but talent-packed roster that includes Justice Sueing, who led the team in conference action, and Oakland native Paris Austin. Darius McNeill, who set the Cal freshman record with 67 three-point makes, also returns alongside Juhwan Harris-Dyson. Cal's newcomers make up one of the nation's top recruiting class, featuring Matt Bradley, Jacobi Gordon, Andre Kelly and Connor Vanover.

Cal's nonconference schedule was announced last month.

Season ticket deposits for the upcoming 2018-19 campaign are now being accepted. The $100 amount will be applied to the final cost of each ticket. For questions or more information on 2018-19 tickets, contact the Gold Standard service team at (800) GO BEARS (462-3277), press option 3.

Usually I would be excited to not have to go to the Mountain schools. This may not mean much this coming season.

Agreed. It's too bad this favorable schedule will be wasted on next year's team.
