Hall of Famer Russ Critchfield is the Head Coach at Butte JC, which of course is very close to the Camp Fire, the deadliest fire in state history. He is OK, although understandably shaken. Here is an update courtesy of Dave Newhouse

Russ Critchfield is OK. Spoke with him this morning. His home is safe, likewise Butte College, because a fire line has been built around the school, which has been closed down until the Monday after Thanksgiving. Three of Critch's games have been postponed, possibly canceled, but there's a chance the Butte Roadrunners will play Tuesday at Ohlone JC in Hayward. Those interested, check first before attending.
