You always take a win, but this one was far from pretty against a team we should have killed. It would be nice having Fields on our side though---compliments to his game.

Agree. TY for pointing Fields stats against Portland State, Fresno, and Texas State. Cal's defense is awful. It never should have been a 1 point victory over SLO.

Fields is like Don Coleman. Coleman looked like a world beater in the first half against Wichita State last year. If that was all one saw of him, you would have him pegged for All American.
Fields was hot tonight. Some of his shots were open, but many were step backs and not easy.
Now, I'm not saying our D is great. It is pretty poor. But sometimes you just run into a hot shooter.

I initially thought it was a bloody nose, and maybe a broken nose
Now maybe its a concussion and possibly a broken nose
he's going to be on the shelf for a while now, and that's not good for our team that already has no depth or size in the front court. He was also having a good game.
