Not shocked that UCLA missed a ton of FTs yesterday and is a poor FT shooting team. They have some bad shooters. And at the donor/season-ticket holder preseason practice I attended, the players weren't paying much attention during FT shooting and the coaches weren't either.

It's also coaching.
First Oregon, and now UCLA. Half the teams in the conference have had a loss to a weak team. The way things are shaping up, Cal has a real good chance to get out of the cellar, and maybe climb up a few notches.

I'm shocked at the ASU loss. ASU was looking like they could be the class of the conference, along with Oregon. And that's not a good Princeton team like we've seen in recent times. That's a team that lost to teams like Lehigh and Fairleigh Dickinson, not to mention a 51 point loss to Duke. Ultimately, I'm thinking this will be "just one of those games" for ASU and they bounce back well.
UCLA got caught in a trap game looking ahead to Cal.
