There's a third place game for the losers of the first day's games, as well as a championship game for the first day's winners.

Actually, Cal will likely start something like 2 seniors, 2 or 3 sophomores (or perhaps a freshman), whereas Duke will likely start 3 or 4 freshmen, 1 sophomore and perhaps 1 upperclassman. So, I'm not sure the youth/experience thing is a much of a disadvantage.

For the folks who run the tournament, it is more likely a sense of profit and revenue, and not taking a chance that Duke wouldn't make it to the championship game.

Interesting starting lineup for Cal. I haven't seen any of the new players, but I sure hope more of them are good enough to start, even early in the season. With Fox, he may start the better defensive players, and not just go with the veterans to begin the season.

Well, I think Austin and South are probably givens for the starting lineup and they're both seniors. Bradley too and he's a sophomore. The questions are mainly about who grabs the 4/5 spots between an interesting group of unproven freshmen and sophs like Anticevich and Kelly who may or may not take a step forward. But you're right...lots of TBD on the roster in general.

I don't think there was any attempt here to be derogatory towards women not mentioned. All women are, or can be fine. But then again the MCP in me thinks who would I rather be looking at? Here are the latest numbers on the per cent of women who are obese, and I'll throw in Brigitte Bardot's country, France, into the mix:

Sweden 14.4%
France 17.4%
Italy 24.9%
USA 41.5%
