Jim Knowlton is aware of this and said they are tossing around new ideas.

I would LOVE to see a few hundred people move into the chairbacks... and then have the owners of the seats either arrive late or come out from the back, where they were having drinks. Now THAT would be an interesting idea to enliven the time outs! The "MC" could even go over and interview the parties involved! We could have a "Pissed Cam"!

Stanford did it with no problems.

The chairback owners have hired counsel to prevent this. They raise the point that the HAZMAT cost of removing the residue of the unwashed masses is prohibitive.
