Definitely. I think he should start over Lars.

Yep - I don't want to jump to the conclusion that Lars should be redshirted, but he definitely has not yet adjusted to the speed of American basketball yet. It's a long season, though. At this point last year, didn't people have Vanover pegged for 5min/game?

Both of them need minutes. There are a lot of guys who would benefit from more minutes, and there are only 200 minutes to dish out. Thorpe has earned more playing time. 4-4, 8 points, 2 blocks and steal. I still think Lars can be given one or two shots, and limit himself to those. I am most disappointed by his lack of rebounding. he got only 1. But then, Thorpe only got 1. Need to see more of Thorpe, but rebounding has become a huge negative for this team. That, and defense. If they don't get better at both, they can rain threes all game long, and they will lose. I also want to see a lot more of Kuany.

Kelly, Thiemann, Gordon, Thorpe and Kuany all need minutes to develop. Kelly's giving us the best results right now. Thiemann is probably getting the starts and most minutes among the rest (at least in part) because Fox sees the greatest potential in his body type and skill set. Of course others could argue that Gordon, Thorpe or Kuany have more potential than Thiemann.
It's all just entertainment, so find a way to enjoy it.
The refs are there to feed your hatred addiction and keep the games close.

I concur. For all intents, we're in "step back" mode and need to play this year for future development. We have a roster full of 4 year players.

All of them have a role on this team

Right now Kelly and Lars give us the most, and both have their strengths and limitations

Kelly has the best offense, and I think he should step outside or in the middle both to score and pull his defender out of the paint

As an undersized front court we need his length. He is not quick, but can improve with strength and coaching. I like that he is physical and has a nice hook. When he faces up he's going to get blocked.

Kuany is intriguing. Long, quick and hustles. I see his value mostly on defense right now, but who knows

I have been encouraged by Thorpe's spot minutes early play. He needs more PT to get comfortable but he looks athletic and quick enough to play at this level, and still probably isn't 100%. I liked that he went up strong on his dunks and even finished threw contact

Cobi is a good shooter. His injuries still limit him, but he is strong

Jacobi Gordon. FWIW I thought he was a SF but many posters mention him as a PF.

He was projected as a small forward, but since his injury, he only has the explosion and mobility of a power forward. Improved over last year in that area, though. I'm rooting for him to continue to get better for us.

*I'm rooting for him too

*He should have been shirted last year

*Regardless of position and injury, he had (has) the highest measurables on the team....next to Matt, of course
His 247 rating was much higher than Sueing's, DJ's. etc.
