Is this common knowledge? I just discovered this doing my Big West conference homework for tonight.
The guy is 81. Not sure if this is impressive or sad.

Mark Gottfried is the head coach, Harrick is there along with Jeff Dunlap & Mo Williams. And they are 0-7.

According to Wikipedia, after his college coaching career ended in 2003, Harrick has worked as an NBA scout (doesn't say how long), been a D-League coach for about two years, and been a college hoops TV analyst.

I doubt he needs the money, so I'm guessing he's doing this because he wants to.

Impressive that a school would even hire him for anything, given his coaching career of success along with having to leave the last three schools he where he coached, due to rules and ethics violations.

He's lived in the Thousand Oaks area every since he was the coach at Pepperdine, so if he wanted to some coaching for fun, CSUN would be a logical option.
