This a result of a decade of incompetence and neglect of their program. It's been a decade since the Lopez Twins (the last time Furd was a consistently good program). The caretakers of that program dismantled the fan base that Monty and co. built (which took 15-20 years of solid to great basketball). Even if Haase is the guy, the fans wont come back overnight.
Unfortunately, these last 2-3 years at Cal have done much damage to everything that Braun/Monty progressively we're attempting to build here.

Students are a small proportion of the fans, especially atHaas. Where are the season ticket holders?
Massive props for the extremely obscure reference that I am probably one of the few who understood. Half the board probably wants to know who Gary Hart is. I think he was an afternoon talk show host or something.bearister said:Bobodeluxe said:

Gary Hart was a big supporter.

Is amazing how much that was an issue back then. Gosh we live in a different time (though I do wonder absent a photo and absent the boat being named "Monkey Business" if he could have survived. ;-)OaktownBear said:Massive props for the extremely obscure reference that I am probably one of the few who understood. No, you are absolutely correct....form 1963-197282gradDLSdad said:
Didn't Gary's brother Jim Ray play for the Giants back in the day? Or am I misremembering?
Hey, Hart could join the field and run again. He's old enough, and what was serious baggage in 1988, might not even make headlines today.bearister said:Bobodeluxe said:

I don't understand how Condoleeza Rice factors into any of this monkey business.
