Games between arch-rivals can get this way. Fortunately we are an elite public university, and Stanford is an elite private institution, and so this type of shenanigans will never happen with us, right? Or maybe what we need to wake up is an old-fashioned donnybrook at our next meeting. Back in the day, some teams carried a player or two who could revive a team, just by going in and starting a fight. Jim Luscotoff, Tom Meschery come to mind.

Kansas has a history of being a program totally OK with cheating and this sort of behavior. National pundits and the NCAA have perpetuated the problem by repeatedly handing the school slaps on the wrist and excuses. This sort of behavior should never be tolerated in athletics.

Kansas suspends De Sousa indefinitely for K-State brawl

I wonder what an indefinite suspension means?

12 games i see now.

He'll be back for postseason!

I don't think K- State received enough punishments though. Their bench joining in was what drove that fight to be super ugly.

Obviously, picking up the chair is a crazy bad thing to do and what deserves longest ban hammer.

How is it the K-state guys fault. Something missing from that video...

I was really disillusioned with the Kansas fans who came to Haas in the last decade for their game. Really classless. Was expecting salt of the earth type fans and got the opposite. Self seemed like a real *****, too.

I remember that Kansas game as a fun time because we were somewhat competitive and we showed a lot of toughness and fire, which I haven't seen lately. I doubt Bennie Boatwright would've been whooping it up on our home floor last season if we would've had guys like MSF and Jorge for him to have to answer to.

Totally agree with Moraga's take on the Kansas fans at that game. Reminded me of Arizona fans and I was expecting more for some reason.

It boggles my mind that De Sousa is even eligible to begin with, given the money it's been shown he accepted from Adidas. Then again, Bill Self is still able to coach somehow. He is about as honest as his hair is real.

Tyshawn Taylor, lol. Of course.

With him and the Morris twins, that was one of the most classless Kansas rosters on a long line of classless rosters. They could hoop, though.

Brian Hendrick and Arizona's Wayne Womack had an ongoing blood feud. They would bring the ruckus within a few minutes after tip off.

...and speaking of the NCAA and athletes (and coaches):

('Keif, Marcus and Thomas Robinson) was a decent front-court combo.

And Charlie Moore left Cal for this roster of gangsters? He didn't look like he'd be of much value in a brawl. Maybe they signed him to upgrade the average character level of their roster. He was smart to exit that scene before he got hurt.

Agree with you about the Kansas fans.

The Morris twins are dirty. Will never root for them.

I recall many opposing players having blood feuds with our Taylor Harrison.
