Their gaudy record never made any sense to me. Of course, I wouldn't mind Cal having a gaudy record now and then, whether it made sense or not.

I agree. I wasn't impressed with Stanfurd when they beat Cal the first game and even less when Cal beat them last week. In both cases, I saw two teams that were at best mediocre. I don't understand why the announcers were impressed with De Silva - he's long and reasonably athletic, but lousy footwork and no explosion. And Tyrell Terry, at least right now, is a scrawny shrimp - average quickness, so-so ballhandler. Maybe he'll have some impact with an extra 15lbs of muscle. That being said, Bradley is the only Cal underclassman who impresses.

De Silva has potential. My biggest takeaway from last Sunday though was that Haase is about as good a game coach as Wyking. They have no offense other than to give it to one of those two guys and hope they can make something happen.

Schiff is perhaps one of the most brilliant attorneys I have ever observed. Rarely looked at his notes, yet he conveyed hours and hours and hours of material without hiccup. On the other hand, the criminal defense Dream Team were married to their notes ( with the fabricated script), and most of them are a 50 cent cab ride from being brought up on ethical violations and disbarred.*
