If that's the case, they had better refund my tickets. I'd be really pissed if they did not.

To be really safe, they should hold it without players as well; too much intimate contact. Sheesh.

Let's just run the computer models and stop playing games, period.

Going to the games is a really cool experience that every basketball fan should experience. Even if your team is not in it, the atmosphere is absolutely electric. Especially Thursday and Friday of the first week.

The teams in The Dance will experience what Furd does when they play at Maples.

Can't say I agree with this during the first round. My experience is the arenas are half-full due to the plethora of games per day and the match-ups are generally less compelling than during the later rounds.

I agree with this though it really depends on the match-ups, time of day and whether local teams are playing. But in general, I've found the tourney games to have far less energy than any home basketball game. CBS & Co do a nice job of placing microphones near cheering sections to make it sound energetic, but it's usually pretty quiet in the arena unless it's a close game down the stretch but even then, the arenas are never full. When you have 4 or 8 teams, there just aren't many fans who are gonna go to every game. Plus, fans who do attend games are usually alums...not many students getting loud.
