Michelle Smith: Jayda Curry making strong first impression with Cal women's basketball | Pac-12

Her Hoop Stats, the #1 site for Women Basketball Statistics named its top ten freshmen players in the country. Jayda Curry came in second. Her scoring average is 19.9 PPG, and she is in the top 30 among all active women college basketball players. Taila von Oelhoffen, Oregon State, averaging 15.5 PPG came in third.

Jayda is the spark and scorer Cal has needed. It so much fun to watch this team. I watched a little of the University of Wahington and Seattle University game tonight on ESPN Plus. Washington won, but Seattle put up a good fight. Cal starts Pac-12 conference games in Washington New Year weekend. GO BEARS!
