Last year, Daniels shot 68% from the line, and thus far this year is up to 94%. Obviously putting in the work, and getting great coaching from "The Shot Doctor" Kelly Cole. Looking forward to further results from the field over time.

Daniels completely rebuilt her FT shooting. Not easy to do in one off season and shows how much work she put in and good shooting coaching

If DD can hit 33% of those 12-15 ft shots when open along with layups and free throws, she can average in the doube-digits for the Bears like yesterday. Her free throws are beautiful. When Daniels (6-3) drives to the basket she needs to seek out contact rather than try to avoid it. It will make all the difference. She will either score or get fouled. GO BEARS!

There's a nice picture her shooting a jumper in the Chronicle. Nice high release point. Didn't she come in with a very low release point like Gabby Green? Still shoots her jumper a little flat but huge improvement in form. If she can score 17 points and Michelle 16 points, we will be in good shape. But as Charmin says in the article we can't "stay behind (Oregon's Nyara) Sabally and (Stanford's) Cameron Brink and those kind of folks, and that's who we are competing with."
