Box score was ahead of the audio so I waited for the dunk call, but it was just a layup. Cal up at half 33-29.

33-29 Cal at the half after we had led by as much as 9. Our scoring is nicely balanced. Nobody on either side has more than 2 fouls. Good news is we have 8 assists on 10 baskets. Points of concern to me are we have 11 turnovers and have given up 9 fast break points.

Why does Gottlieb let KA play in the final minute of the half? She picked up her initial foul in the first 20 seconds of the 2nd quarter and registered her 2nd PF in the final 29 seconds. For Anigwe to have one foul at intermission is a big difference than owning two PFs...She tends to pick up at the beginning or the end of periods like clock work.

To have the opportunity for her to only have one would have been HUGE. I would have had her sitting...

At the end of 3rd quarter, Cal has taken a 9 point lead. All of the scoring was three players: KA, Jaelyn Brown & two layups by Recee Caldwell.

Penn State is killing us in three areas: 14-4 on fastbreak points, forcing 16 Bear TOs to only 9 & grabbing 15 offensive rebounds. GO BEARS!

Listening to these announcers...I sure hope Cal has a chance in this one...oh wait, we're winning. Huh.

Having listened to away announcers I get used to the homers. These guys aren't as bad as that guy last year (one of the Texas teams I think)--but it seems they always are critical of Kristine and rarely compliment her. They said "Anigwe likes to complain." It's part her being so good, and probably part the vibe she sends out.

Now accusing her of essentially selling/faking fouls...earlier also said she isn't used to Penn State physical play (uh, yes she is).
