I like to know what older players are up to, and these were two of my favorite when they played in the Pac-12.

Good to know Mercedes is playing again. Speaking of which, I got a nice response from Kristin Iwanaga after I e-mailed her with praise for the Broncos.

Does anyone know why Mercedes Jefflo left CAL. I thought it may have been for academic reasons, but I don't know. She was just gone. She must have taken some years off from college and playing basketball. I really liked watching her play. We need another player who can make 44 3-pointers in a season. It's great she is back in college and playing basketball. Good for her! Thank you for posting information about Mercedes.

I looked at Central Methodist University, Missouri ...roster. Most of the players are seniors and played for different colleges. It's great they are getting a degree and having a second chance to play basketball again

As I recall according to the official announcement at the time she was "dismissed" from the team and there were no other details. So it's anyone's guess.

She had previously been suspended the year before because of something that happened on a road trip. My guess is that it was behavioral. The question is what did she do during the years she wasn't playing basketball?

In the NCAA, you have 5 years to play 4. after that you can't play unless you are a mormon and go on a trip.

So she would have to go to a non-NCAA school.

This is an NAIA school.

I guess I should have mentioned that. Ws aware of that. But what I really want to know is what has she been doing the last several years.
