Cal's NCAA champion women's hammer thrower Camryn Rogers will be going to Tokyo as a member of the Canadian Olympic team. She is a native of British Columbia.

Thanks for the info! I looked up her distance to see why she didn't make the US team but then remembered that she's Canadian. Her NCAA best throws were approximately ten feet short of the USA's third best qualifier so Canada was her ticket to the Olympics anyway. GO BEARS!

74.97m - CR MR, X, 73.33m, 72.25m, 73.52m, 75.52m CR MR.
She broke the Collegiate Record of 74.53m previously set by Maggie Ewen of ASU in 2018. It is also the NCAA meet record. It is a new Canadian U23 record for her. Two weeks earlier she broke the NCAA West Qualification record in Texas A&M. Her performance sits 5th on the 2021 world performance list and sits 7th on the WA Olympic qualification list, which includes marks from 2019.
