So, in summary, the five recruits that visited are Grace Zhao, Ashley Volpenhein, Alexis Margett, Sophie Krivokapic-Zhou, and Dannie Dilsaver.
To generalise/simplify the primary swim skill sets of our prospective 2017 baby :bear:s a bit here (please pardon any errors or missing stuff as haven't delved all that deeply into their respective stats yet):

Grace - Breast
Zhao's 200 breast time of 2:09.23 is considerably faster than Maggie's, and not too far off Nikol's.
The other 2 currently hold an advantage over Grace in the shorter breast distance. She'll be looking to dip below the 1 minute barrier in the 100 breast (PB = 1:00.65, took 2nd behind 2018 recruit Zoe Bartel @ the Speedo Winter Junior National Championships last Dec in Austin).
Has a wicked 50 free in her which could possibly be leveraged for our 200 free relay down the road as Farida & KV will have graduated - Grace's 22.75 there isn't all that far from sprint specialist Lauren Pitzer's 22.66! That personal best time, if Grace would have swum it @ 2016 CA CIF Champs back in May, would have tied for first with winner Elise Garcia (2018 recruit) in the A final...

Ashley - Sprint freestyle
Volpenhein's 22.35 = swiftest 50 free out of the class' top sprinters (Pitzer, Ciesla).
Comparable to Marta in the 100 distance...whilst Lauren's faster there, with a bit more versatility in terms of events.
Ashley's 100 fly (54.73) would have garnered Cal some C finals points @ 2016 Pac-12s, and should also be quite serviceable @ dual meets.
200 free (1:49.39) will need some additional development.

Alexis - Sprint Butterfly
Margett is close to top sprint flyer in the class, Caitlin Tycz, in the 100 fly (52.59). Faster than both Victoria Edwards & Courtney Harnish, and much quicker than Hannah Kukurugya, Brooke Forde & Taylor Pike, in this distance.
Top 200 flyer Courtney (really great in a bunch of other events too, that's why Harnish's rated the #1 recruit in this class!) does trump Alexis by 3.37 sec in the longer distance, with Taylor, Kuks, Victoria & Brooke also enjoying a sizeable advantage. Tycz slower than Margett tho.
Fast improving in the 200 IM (1:59.78), which would have earned a B finals spot in last year's Pac-12s, and qualified for 2016 NCAAs.

Sophie - Backstroke
Krivokapic-Zhou's 53.50 PB won the 100 back title @ 2016 CA CIF Champs (where Aislinn came in 4th, with Emily Eastin behind her).
This 100 back PB...plus her 1:56.79 in the 200 back...her 1:47.90 200 free (ahead of Cat & Val who made it to the C finals of the 2016 Conference champs)...her 100 fly best of 53.67 (which is actually faster than fly specialists Kuks & Taylor, and all-rounder Brooke!)...all 4 of her events would have earned a 2016 NCAA invite (B cut), not to mention B final points @ 2016 Pac-12s!
I can see why Teri who does prize versatility quite a bit would want to recruit Sophie

Dannie - Breast/
IM?
Dilsaver has a 1:02.15 in the 100 breast (NCAA B cut), and a 2:16.44 in the 200 breast. Also a 2:00.37 in the 200 IM, and 4:15.90 in the 400 IM.
All 4 times are 2016 NCAA B cuts.
Haven't looked up her times in other events, so may have missed her better events...

Goes without saying that in considering the #1 public university in the world, these 5 candidate recruits probably have achieved a degree of excellence on the academic side of things, with McKeever handpicking them also for their fit with their prospective teammates and with the school
