Oregon (#1), UCLA (#@), #3 Oklahoma & #4 Florida were upruptly sent packing...These four were supposed to posses superior pitching but hitting prevailed. The two teams left standing are the Pac Nine's third place finisher & #5 seed, Washington, and the only ACC entrant & last seed (#8). Florida State had to beat undefeated UCLA twice yesterday and succeeded. The finale was a convincing 12-6 pounding of the Bruin pitching staff. Those top four teams believed their own hype and got what they deserved. Oregon had the top pitching staff in the Pac 9 but got roughed up in the CSWS. Go Huskies!
