Hi, anyone follow Cal's women's gymnastics program?

The program is on a huge upswing thanks to Coaches Justin Howell and Liz Crandall. Coach Howell won the national coach of the year award in 2016 and was 2-time winner of the PAC-12 coach of the year. Cal was ranked 49th nationally when Coach Howell took over but have now made it to the National Championships the last 2 out of 3 years.

Recruiting has been a major component of the improvement and the incoming class is extremely strong as are the verbal commits for the next few years.

I'm a novice women's gymnastics fan so you'll have to evaluate this recruit class of six for yourself.

IMO coach Howell & his wife are doing an outstanding job and are out-recruiting several other Cal athletic programs that I follow...GO BEARS!
