Cal could only generate 6 hits including a 2 run hr by Vaughn. Vaughn is now within one hr to tie for 2nd place on Cal's all time career hr list. Critical games vs AZ st. Next week.

Looks like they scored all their runs yesterday! A regional caliber team should be able to come out and continue the hitting. That is baseball, but it is also being prepared. Not high on a mediocre UOP flunky!
Bears faced a very tough pitcher today in Erik Miller (7-1). Seems to me the "mediocre UOP flunky" has done a very good job with this team this year.Baller4 said:

It's funny how you come on here to gloat when your man Esquer's team wins but hide when they lose. A #2 team in the country shouldn't give up 18 runs and 20 hits to an unranked opponent especially a rival on any day. That's coaching.Baller4 said:

Yah I never felt like we ever overachieved with Esquer. Always underwhelming except for that one year our program was in jeopardy and the players stepped up big.
