Collin Morikawa shot an even par 71 in the first round of the U.S. Open at Pebble Beach. He is tied for 38th place, which puts him in pretty good shape to make the cut. One of his playing partners, Aaron Wise out of Oregon shot a five-under 66 and is tied for the lead.

I was a little premature....didn't count on Rose...Collin is tied for 40th and Wise is one shot off the lead..Still Collin is in decent shape to make the cut
